Local football fans in the country have acknowledged and congratulated the country’s New Zealand-based football star Micah Lea’alafa for his outstanding performance following the recent Oceania league championships.
Following the league, the young star received the golden ball and the player of the Oceania club championship award.
This came after he helped secure his Auckland City FC to claim the title for the sixth time.
Micah was in stunning performance during the grand final to score two goals of the 3 goal win over Team Willington.
His fans in Honiara said Micah’s achievement has reflected his commitment and professionalism in football duty abroad.

“This is the result of being disciplined, committed, consistent and humble. Keep aiming to achieve that goal you have in mind, focus, built your experience, accept constructive criticism; and tackle one mile stone at a time.
“God is your captain, follow His commands, live His will, do the best in whatever you do for His glory. You are by far the best soccer citizen of SI. To God be the glory. Congratulation.”
In a similar sentiment Micah’s former club Amical FC players and management also shared congratulation to his achievements.
