A CRAZY football fan is calling on all soccer supporters in the country who are planning to watch the return match of our national senior men’s team against Tahiti tomorrow to rally their support behind our boys.
Raymond Ali made the call since past experiences has proved that our diehard fans and supporters usually withdraw their support when our players did not perform according to their expectation.
“I would like to make this call as much as possible since this has been witnessed in previous matches our boys played against other teams,’’ Ali told Star Sports yesterday.
“We should stand together despite whatever circumstance our boys faced inside the field,’’ he said.
“Mind you, if we vocally cheer our boys during their match it will be like our team has another extra player apart from the 11 players in the field,’’ he said.
He also urged the national players to as much as possible give their best effort in this return leg.
“To the squad please concentrate on your game plan and don’t let the crowd distract your performance,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, Ali stressed the result of the first match was respectable since our boys only conceded one goal thus he strongly believe if our boys are given the extra support through cheering, the outcome of the second leg should be positive result for the country.
The return leg match is set for tomorrow 3pm at the Lawson Tama stadium.
Entrance fees are $100 for grandstand and $20 per head for standing at the hill side.
