FARMSET Limited has donated 12 pairs of soccer shoes and $7,200 cash to the Ministry of Rural Development on Wednesday at the Farmset office at Ranadi, East Honiara.
The donation was purposely to assist the Ministry in preparation for the upcoming Inter- Ministry competitions.
Farmset branch manager Lolito Ceredon said, he was so delighted to assist the Ministry for the first time after being approached.
“We were really proud to assist the Ministry with this donation to support them in their preparation for upcoming sports event,’’ he said.
“I would also like to wish the Ministry’s team all the best in the upcoming Inter Ministry.
“Hope this support will strengthen our relationship with national government.”
The Ministry’s team manager Stanley Araha expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Ministry, adding the support will definitely help their team in preparation for the Inter Ministry.
“On behalf of the Ministry, I would like to thank Farmset management for this timely support,’’ he said.
“Actual the Ministry had a good relationship with Farmset, thus they are not hesitate to support us.”
He added the Ministry really appreciated the support saying his players will use the sports gears during the competition not only to compete but as part of keeping them healthy.
