The TSL last season’s newly debutants FC Juniper Tree tasted its first victory of the season over the weekend.
This came after they thrashed Honiara City 5-1 on Sunday at Lawson Tama Stadium.
The struggling FC Juniper Tree in a surprising turn dominated the match.
They played a total of 13 matches since the start of the season, which they lose 11 matches, draw 1 and win 1.
That means they now sits with 4 points at the bottom of the table after winning only a match, draw 1 and losing 11 matches in 13 matches played.
Star Sport understand that, FC Juniper Tree is working on reinforcing their squad during the mid-season break and come back stronger for the remainder of the season.
Fortnight ago they lost to the TSL table leader Central Coast FC 2-1, with only a goal to separate.
Result from match has proven many local TSL fans that FC Juniper Tree has stepped up in its performance until on Sunday where they silence the local fans after their dominant performance against Honiara City FC.
Honiara City FC despite having many speedsters upfront failed to get past the FC Juniper Tree brick wall.
A statement from the club said, they are now focusing on their recovery and preparing for their next match this weekend.
