Suva (Fiji Times) – THE Fiji Football Association (FFA) will decide on the fate of the Ba football team after the side failed to come and complete the formalities at the end of the final of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants.
After losing to Rewa in the final 2-0 on Sunday at the Ratu Cakobau Park the side straight away went into the change room.
Fiji FA chief executive officer Bob Kumar said the board would decide on the issue.
“It is the board who will meet and make the decision on the issue where Ba did not turn up at the presentation,” he said.
The sponsors of the tournament CJ Patel’s general manager Pranil Singh said they would leave the matter with football house to decide.
“We would not get involved into the matter and let Fiji FA to decide,” he said.
“But I will say Ba should have shown sportsmanship and they should have attended the presentation but I will leave that to Fiji FA sort it out.”
Singh said the new proposed format worked out well and come next year it could be played on the same format.
