A SOLOMON Islander who joined the Royal Navy in the United Kingdom has the privileged to meet Princess Anne, Royal, last week.
According to the Catholic Archdiocese of Honiara, Sebastine Kavaliliu is a youth member of the church and the first Solomon Islander to join the Royal Navy.
Mr Kavaliliu met Princess Anne, who is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh, during a HMS Raleigh Passing Out Parade for Cunningham 22/32 Class last week.
He is one of three from their Division who was selected to meet the only sister of King Charles III.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Honiara said Mr Kavaliliu will join his team Fisher for their Passing-Out after completing 10 weeks of training on 28th April.
It also added that Mr Kavaliliu is one of hundreds of youths who keep chasing goals and dreams and making history.
