Local soccer coaches will have many opportunities to enhance their knowledge in coaching this year with the upcoming coaching courses revealed for this year.
The Solomon Islands Football federation (SIFF) revealed a total of five football coaching courses for this year.The courses will cover all three football codes, the 11-a-side, Futsal and beach soccer code and it also targets both male and female.
First up will be FIFA Youth Course which will start in April, followed by the FIFA Senior Coaching Course in July, the FIFA Futsal Course and Beach Football Course in September and will be wrapped up by the Women’s Coaching Course in November.
According to SIFF there are 25 positions available for each course.

14-19 July FIFA Senior Coaching Course, Closing date for Registration 7/6/14
8-12 September FIFA Futsal Course, Closing date for Registration 1/8/14
15-17 September OFC Beach Football Course, Closing date for Registration 1/8/14
3-7 November Women’s Coaching Course, Closing date for Registration 26/9/14
