The Solomon Islands national men’s football training squad has resumed training for this year.
Head coach, Moses Toata confirmed that training resumed Tuesday and will continue for the coming months.
Trainings are conducted at the SIFF Academy field under the watchful eyes of two former national players, Head Coach Moses Toata and assistant coach Gideon Omokirio.
The trainings are in preparation for the upcoming Nations Cup which is the first stage for the Oceania World Cup Qualifiers.
The Nations Cup champion will represent Oceania at the 2017 Confederation Cup in Russia.
Eight countries have qualified for the Cup including New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tahiti, New Caledonia, PNG and Samoa.
