FORMER provincial member of the Western Provincial Assembly is calling on the 50 members of parliament (MP) to stop the political tricks in the number game to form a government.
Mambo Fangaria, said this country has had enough of this already and demanded that the MPs must move the country forward.
“Millions of dollars have been dumped into our country since independence and yet we are not progressing well in terms of development.
“One government comes in, not long after another comes in again. This shows that many MPs are hunger for power instead of thinking ahead and move the country forward,” the outspoken East Kwaio man said.
Mr Fangaria also made an appeal to Malaitan MPs to join force with the government so that major projects that are being eyed for Malaita can proceed.
“I want to call on all Malaitan MPs to start thinking of doing something positive for their province.
“As we all know, Malaita is the back born of this country and I believe that all Malaitans really want the government to remain until its term lapse. Our biggest worry is the major projects that the DCC government has promised for Malaita.
“If the government is overthrown, all our hopes will be gone,” Mr Fangaria told the Solomon Star.
Meanwhile, the ‘Be Happy’ ministry founder also rally his full support to the Sogavare led government and said that he will continue to pray so that the DCC government remains in power.
