During the day, parents will are going to be given the opportunity to look at students’ work, discuss their child’s academic performances and talk to their children’s subject teachers if they need clarification.
The principal said the school hope parents will sees this day as an important day to come and talk to them on a person to person basis.
Currently, the school enrolled about 832 students from prep class to form six, and about 800 parents are expected to attend the open-day.
“I think it is important that parents visit the school,” the school principal said.
“The school exists because of children and therefore it is important for parents to come and see what their children are taught and what their children have learnt.”
