THE Governor General (GG) His Excellency Reverend, David Vunagi says the Democratic Coalition Government for Advancement (DCGA) recognises that the private sector is fundamental in driving our economy forward.
Rev. Vunagi made the statement when delivering the throne speech in Parliament to mark the commencement of the 2nd meeting of the 11th Parliament.
“The sustainable economic development of our country needs to be promoted and addressed and this Government recognises that the private sector is fundamental in driving our economy forward,” he said.
He said amongst other economic policies, the access to finance by the private entrepreneurs and Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) is vital.
“The environment must be conducive for the local entrepreneurs and SMEs to flourish,” he added.
