THE University of the South Pacific, Solomon Islands Campus (USPSI) in Honiara has witnessed a huge turn out on day one of its information session on Tuesday.
More school leavers attended the seasons which allowed them to learn about the opportunities available at USP.
With its first session, it shows a great turn out of students, according to Layson Leve, an official at the USPSI campus.
“Not only students but parents and guardians turned up today which is encouraging.
“We encourage more parents to come along with their son and daughters for our next session on Thursday starting at 10am,” he said.
Tuesday’s session involves presentations, questions and answer session and one on one academic consultation for those who required further information,” said Leve.
The two day series information session is for school leavers or drop outs around the country to convene and learn more about the opportunities that are available at USP centre for students.
That includes form three, five and six school leavers.
Meanwhile, Leve call on every school leavers to make use of the opportunity.
“To all school dropouts (F3, F5 & F6) including parents and the public, you are all welcome to come to these sessions.
“Secondary education is not the end, we have other pathways available,” he said.
The two day session will end tomorrow.
