THE Democratic Coalition for Change Government is holding a thanksgiving service tomorrow to thank God for its success in forming the government after the 19 November General Elections last year.
Announcing the ecumenical service, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Douglas Ete said:
“On behalf of the Democratic Coalition for Change Government, I am pleased to inform the nation that we are congregating at 2pm this Sunday at the Wesley United Church to thank the Almighty for his love, mercy, protection and guidance to us during the process of forming the government and thereafter.
“We acknowledge God as the beneficent author of all the good in the past, present and the future and would like to give back to him all credit due to him.
“This will also be a time for us to dedicate and entrust our nation and its governance to God and I would like to take this opportunity to invite the public to join us for ecumenical worship.”
