Dear Editor – The people who had retired, redundant or sacked are continuing to use government quarters at Auki town.
Many of them have claimed that they have obtained the entitlement of the plot land and at the same time secured the government building as well.
This is one of unacceptable deals any government should not have entertained whether it be at the national or provincial level.
It is because of this attitude lots of government employees are residing in private houses which cost lots of money for rent alone.
The time has come that those corrupted deals must be put out.
Those who had retired, reduntant, expelled or resigned should vacate government houses and return home so that the government employees are accommodated there to avoid high rental expenses each year.
