THE Government has sacked two of its most senior political appointees.
Chief of Staff George Kuper and Policy Secretary, Sectoral Reform Productive Sector Dr Gabriel Titili were shown the exit door, Wednesday.
Special Secretary to Prime Minister (SSPM) Andrew Muaki confirmed the sacking.
But he refused to divulge reasons to the decision.
He said the sacking has been referred to Caucus, which will issue a statement later.
A government insider said he believed the reasons for the removal of the two top appointees could have been based on their work performance.
When contacted for comment, Dr Titili confirmed his sacking, but declined to comment, saying it should be the government that should explain its action.
Mr Kuper could not be reached for comment.
