THE Governor General, His Excellency, the Right Reverend David Vunagi has appointed Commins Mewa as Minister for the Ministry of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening (MPGIS) in accordance with the constitution.
The Member of Parliament for Temotu Nende Mewa sworn-in at the Government House to formalise his appointment on Friday, the Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed.
Member of Parliament for North West Guadalcanal Anthony Veke was the former Minister for the MPGIS.
Veke is now the Minister for the Ministry of Minister for Police, National Security and Correctional Services.
