Minister for Development Planning and Aid Coordination Danny Philip acknowledges the continuous support from the New Zealand (NZ) government towards enhancing development in Solomon Islands (SI).
Speaking during his official opening of the consultation talks between officials from the two countries (SI & NZ) Danny Phillip reiterated that New Zealand’s aid program in the country is the best and deserves appreciations from all Solomon Islanders.
Mr Philip highlighted the continuous support of New Zealand in the past, present and the future is a milestone that helps Solomon Islands economy to grow.
He added that New Zealand aid assistance to Solomon Islands is genuine, as objectives and principles of their aid programs truly addresses the development needs of the country.
Phillip further stated that his Ministry remain committed to do their best to ensure that NZ assistance towards nation building are well implemented to achieve the development goals that both Solomon Islands and New Zealand government wants to see happens.
