HONIARA Senior High School (HSHS), Principal Mr Allen Ketei is appealing to the responsible authority within the national government to bring to an end the national examination leakage practices.
Mr Ketei highlighted this during the graduation and prize giving ceremony of HSHS, Thursday.
He said the national examination leakage is one of the challenges of the country’s education.
“At the national level, the story about exam leakage whether it is true or untrue is disappointing and disgusting to all especially when we are promoting quality education and good practices in our system,” Mr Ketei said.
He stated if that is true then such malpractices would raise questions on the credibility of our national assessment policies and practices which is the core business.
He added teachers and students for that matter sometimes are victims and take the blame for the evil practice.
“Therefore, let me appeal to the responsible authority to bring to an end this plight. Find ways to promote best and safe ways of doing things,” Ketei said.
