The Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) government will come up with the costing for free education policy in 2017 budget.
The policy is to relieve parents in paying school fees for their children to attend schools.
Minister of Finance and Treasury, Snyder Rini confirmed this when asked by member of Aoke Langalanga, Mathew Wale in Parliament yesterday.
Mr Rini said the government is working on the costing of the policy and when it completes, will be factored into the budget.
He said, the costing is not in the current budget but is confirmed for 2017 budget.
The free education policy was introduced in 2014 by the then Sikua-led government as part of meeting one of the requirements of Millennium Development Goals, to allow every child to attend school.
