GUADALCANAL Deputy Premier Peter Araonisaka says their school leaders who have recently graduated with Certificates in School Leadership qualifications have shown a great achievement for the province and the nation.
Mr Araonisaka highlighted this at the reception hosted by graduates who are comprised of Guadalcanal leaders teachers attending a training program facilitated by the USP SI Campus with the support from the Ministry of Education and Human Resource development.
He said the program has really equipped school leaders with skills and knowledge in leadership especially as they are now ready to help and support the Guadalcanal community leadership, rural communities and children.
“To you my good school leaders, congratulations to you all. You have made us proud in successfully completing your training and qualifications.
“Your success is the provincial governments, our communities, schools and children at the classrooms success. Congratulations indeed,” he added.
Meanwhile on behalf of the graduates, John Botsi said they really learned a lot from the training and its really preparing them for many challenges ahead especially in the areas of leadership.
Mr Botsi said the program has made great impacts in their profession for training, especially to lead the Guadalcanal schools that will assist the future human resources in this country.
He said on behalf of the graduates, he thanked the Ministry of Education, the USP SI Campus, the Provincial Government, the trainers and family for all the support which resulted in their great achievements.
He said they look forward to deliver according to what they learn in their various schools and places of work.
