Guadalcanal Province will start its 39th Second Appointed Day celebrations with a four-day Mini Trade Show at Mamara.
A statement from Guadalcanal Province 39th Second Appointed Day Committee in Honiara said the trade show will start from Wednesday July 28th to Saturday August 1st 2023 before the official second appointed day celebrations on Sunday August 2nd 2023.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Fostering Social Harmony & Unity Through Inclusive Economic Participation”.
The statement said there will be fees for those wishing to participate in the Mini Trade Show and those interested are urged to contact the provincial office.
There will also be entertainment and prizes for best performance in the following categories music (bands and individuals), dancers (cultural and contemporary), singers (choir groups) and drama.
The organising committee however, added that it will not be liable for transportation and food for those wishing to participate in this trade show.
