“Since we are nearing the national general election I wish to call on the new eight leaders of Guadalcanal province who will be voted into Parliament next month to support the tourism industry in this province.
“I urge you all when you come into power to support tourism industry around the province. The industry is growing but lacks supports from leaders to move the development forward.”
He officers are currently going around the province to provide awareness and basic tourism training.
“Some people have been equipped with knowledge and skills from the trainings but they only need capital to kick off their business.”
Meanwhile Ms Koli thanked the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for accepting the invitation to conduct a training for the Marau tourism operators.
