The Green Tourism Solomon Island Ltd (GRTSI) will officially launch a holiday package to Florida Island next month.
The holiday package will be unveiled on July 15 and will end on October 15 as trial in the local market.
Green Tourism managing director Michael Tokuru revealed this during an operators meeting held at the Roderick beach accommodation last Saturday.
Mr Tokuru said the package would be launched locally to see the strength of the package before the package is promoted internationally.
“This holiday package targets government officers, RAMSI, groups and hotel guests who wants to go out for weekend out.
“This is just a trial and if the packages work out good in the local market then we would start selling the package internationally,’’ Mr Tokuru said.
He said the package involved the four operators in the Roderick Bay namely; Pota Sauraghi eco lodge, Taupuipui island resort, Roderick Bay Hideaway accommodation and Roderick beach accommodation.
“This package will be official launched next week but anyone interest can inquire in our office. This is the first of its kind to be offered in the Solomon Island therefore you better try this out,” Mr Tokuru said.
