THE NEW Premier of Guadalcanal Province Batholomew Vavanga has confirmed his new executive line up.
Mr Vavanga in compliance with section 22 (4) of the Provincial Government Act 1997 sent his advice yesterday afternoon to the Minister of Provincial Government and Institutional Strengthening to appoint his Deputy Premier and 10 Provincial Ministers.
Acting Provincial Secretary Charles Sisimia said all new ministers have received their letters of offer from Mr Vavanga and are waiting to take their oaths of allegiance before taking up official duties in their respective divisions.
Mr Sisimia said swearing in of the new executive members was for tomorrow at the Provincial Head Quarter.
The new premier appointed 11 of the 21 who voted him in power, to take up the portfolios available.
Mr Sisimia said full details of Mr Vavanga’s executive line up will be released to the public after members take their oaths.
