SOLOMON Islands national sprinter Luke Haga is set to compete in the 20th World Indoor Championship (WIC) 2025 in Nanjing, China, later this month.
The WIC is set to take place from March 21 to 23 at the newly constructed Nanjing Cube gymnasium located within the Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park.
The two-time 100-metres gold medallist left the country last Wednesday to Australia, where he will spend two weeks before travelling on to China on March 17.
During his two weeks in Australia, Haga will participate in a number of races, starting with the Cathy Freeman Shield in Brisbane that should have been held last Saturday, but was cancelled due to cyclone Alfred.
Star sport was unable to confirm the new date for the Cathy Freeman Shield.
Haga will also be competing in 100-metre and 200-metre races at the Queensland Athletics Championship, which is scheduled to begin on March 13.
