WESTERN United girls yesterday thrashed Hana in the 2014 womens league.
The match was played at the SIFF academy, King George, East Honiara.
It was a tough kick off as both teams were determined to open the scorelines. But as the match continued United ladies managed to take control of the match and slotted in goals.
It was Natali Takayama of Western United who scored the first three goals before Janet Gagame slotted in three more.
United with a lots of supporters to cheer them up continued to display some good football works.
Hana ladies on the other hand managed to hold on and fought hard by trying to penetrate into United’s territory but could not do so due to strong defence play.
It was in the dying minutes that Doris Aua scored the seventh goal before Erena Daudau registered their last goal to claim victory.
