HONIARA City Law Enforcers are now prepared to begin their duties as the council prepares to implement the seven-meter by-law aimed at eradicating vendors from the streets.
This came following questions raised by the public as to who will be implementing the bylaws as of February one.
“We were told to prepare to enforce the by-law as of February this year.
“We do not know what the HCC’s plans are in the long run but HCC Law Enforcers are well prepared to kick start this and look out for people littering within the Honiara City boundary,” a law enforcing officer said.
HCC enforcers will launch a full scale operation to monitor the public in terms of street vending.
