A NUMBER of fraud allegations is currently under investigated within some departments of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS).
That was according to a senior ministry staff, who claimed to have assisted the police in providing information related to the fraud allegation in the ministry.
The officer reported that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is interrogating head of staff about suspicious dealings that resulted in public funds being abused.
“They are busy digging out facts related to the alleged fraud in various departments of the Ministry, since the police are taking the matter seriously, as part of the government’s efforts to crack down on corruption.”
