A LOCAL non-government organisation established to assist widowers, orphans, and elderly people is hosting a major fundraising on New Year’s eve in west Kwaio, Malaita.
Heart of Hope (HOH) will stage the fundraiser at Bina village.
The organisation’s founder and president Janet Justice Aihari said many activities will be featured during the event.
These include sports, live bands entertaining, sale of food and others.
Mrs Aihari said their partner organisations in Honiara will organise similar activities during the day.
She said funds raised will go towards the organisation’s community service next year.
Mrs Aihari appealed to supporters and those with a heart to give to come along and be part of the fundraiser.
