SI seasonal worker known as the ‘Destroyer’ in Australia’s boxing scene wins 2nd pro bout in NSW
LEMUEL Silisia, Solomon Islands very own son living in Australia’s Tamworth city who is also known in the Australian boxing scene as the ‘Destroyer,’ won his second boxing professional bout after beating Australian boxer Simon Rendina by 3rd rounds Technical Knockout.
The memorable bout was staged in Newcastle, New South Wales (NSW), last the weekend.
His delightful Club, One2Boxing Westside confirmed that they were over the moon when Silisia won his 2nd pro fight in the 3rd rounds by TKO and shared his victory to the World via their online media platform.
“Lemuel Silisia wins 2nd pro fight by 3rd TKO,” announced One2Boxing.
In a pre-interview with his club before he fought Rendina, Silisia said his opponent was an experienced fighter who has had a lot of fights in his boxing career.
However, he predicted the fight to be just another knockout fight for him and his words were fulfilled last weekend when he stopped Rendina in the 3rd round.
“All my fights in Australia I won by knockouts, it’s in my blood now,” Silisia stated.
Silisia who hails from Laugwata Village in West Kwara’ae, Malaita Province, became a professional fighter after fighting his opponent Vachayan Khamon, a professional fighter on 1July.
Silisia went to Australia to work under the Seasonal Work Scheme when he started to engage with One2Boixing Club and developed himself into a professional fighter.
One2Boxing is optimistic that Silisia’s boxing career is bright.
Back here in Solomon Islands, people have congratulated Silisia for his 2nd win in his professional boxing career.
