The proposed Honiara Football Association (HFA) administration and coaches training is going to be staged this week.
It will kick off tomorrow at the SIFF Academy conference room for over three days ending Thursday.
The HFA congress met on March 6 this week to hold its ordinary AGM.
In that meeting, club representatives have agreed to hold the training for both coaches and administrators next week, in the afternoons.
In the AGM, it has been agreed that the training will be held over a three days for only 2hrs in the evening.
The General Secretary for HFA have decided to have the courses in the afternoon because of low turnout by club representatives.
“We have decided to have the course in the afternoon from 4:30 – 6:30 for the coaches, and 5:00 – 7:00 for the administrators”.
The workshop is an important initiative by the HFA executive to improve the administration and coaching savvy of its club members.
“We have identified that to improve the level of competition and how the games are run we need to train the coaches and administrators”, said the HFA General Secretary.
