Four football clubs have confirmed their participation for the Honiara Football Association (HFA) pre-season competition.
This was confirmed by the HFA executive on Thursday.
The four new Pre-season clubs are San Jorge Thunders FC, Rivantor Hunters FC, Henderson Eels FC and G FC.
These four clubs will go into a round robin format of competition to find the top two teams that will go into stage two of the pre-season to play the four clubs that did not participate in the HFA 2013 League, namely K1 FC, Rainbow FC, LS Kumar FC and Kakamora FC.
The four top teams with the highest points from stage two of the pre-season competition will take up the four spots that are currently available in Division 2 to participate in the HFA 2014 League Season.
The HFA Executive thanked the four new clubs that have paid in their registration fees of $5,000 by the due date.
Meanwhile the Pre-season has been postponed.
It was originally scheduled to kick-off this coming Saturday April 5, however due to the current bad weather; the kick-off date has now been deferred to next Saturday April 12.
All club managers are advised to take note of the postponement and advise their clubs accordingly.
The HFA Executive also reminded the four clubs that did not participate in the 2013 League season that their registration due date is Thursday April 10 latest by 6.30pm.
The registration fee is $3,000.00 which must be paid to the Treasurer, Marlon Houkarawa.
All respective clubs are strongly urged to pay up the registration fees before the due date.
Late registrations will not be accepted.
