THE High Court and Court of Appeal will be going on its 2021 Christmas vacation starting next week.
A circular memorandum from the High Court registrar has been sent via email to all legal practitioners plus notices of the court vacation was pinned at the High Court entrances.
According to the circular the Christmas vacation starts on Monday next week, December 13 and ends on 17 January 2022.
“The Registry services will be made available from 9am to 10am and from 1pm to 2pm each day (weekends and public holiday excluded),” the circular reads.
It also stated that a duty Judicial officer will be available throughout the vacation to hear urgent application.
“The court will resume sitting on Tuesday 18 January, 2022,” it added.

The 2022 Legal Year opening ceremony will be held on 24 January 2022 at Court Room 1.
