The Honiara Netball Association (HNA) will be rolling out its first program for this year as of next month.
HNA confirmed this to Star Sports in a statement yesterday.
“HNA executive has started preparations for the 2016 events which is set to kick off next month with a Pikinini coaching clinic for girls aged 6 – 14,’’ HNA said.
“The HNA executive wishes to also inform all teams that participated in the 2015 season to start their preparations for the 2016 league set for May,’’ HNA said.
“It is therefore very important that clubs/teams confirm to HNA on their participation for this year’s league,’’ HNA said.
As part of their preparations, the HNA Executive is also searching for potential sponsors towards the 2016 events which includes, the Pikinini coaching clinic, Coaching clinic and umpires refresher workshop, school and open league competitions.
HNA is also appealing to business house and organizations to come forward to support their events which will have a great impact on young women and girls.
In addition, registration is now open for teams wishing to participate in the 2016 league season. All teams are asked to contact the HNA Executive to collect a form and information sheet.
“All forms can be submitted to either of the HNA Executive members by close of business on Friday 29 April 2015,’’ HNA added.
