Registration for the upcoming hockey club league is now open.
President of the Solomon Islands Hockey Federation (SIHF) Nihal Senevirantne confirmed this to Sunday Sports in an interview.
“The hockey club league registration is now open for interested clubs,’’ Senevirante said.
“The registration period starts now and closes on 31st March 2016,’’ he added.
“Interested clubs are encouraged to contact Honiara Hockey Association (HHA) executive member Winky Yee on phone 7495649 or Bently Donga on 7363486 for registration forms as well as for fee enquires,’’ he said.
He added each club is allowed to register 18 players with one team manager and a coach.
“The league proper will start on the second week of May 2016.
“The format of play is hockey 11s,’’ he added.
