HEARTS Of Hope director, Janet Aihari has made a plea to women in the rural community to support the organisation’s work.
The local charity group was founded in 2006 aimed at helping the unfortunates and bring hope to them.
The group mainly operate in rural communities in Auki, Malaita Province.
Mrs Aihari said she is now planning to carry out HOH programmes to other rural communities in other provinces.
She said to make this; women in rural communities must get in touch with HOH.
“If we establish networking with women in the rural communities, we can conduct awareness programs about HOH before rolling out work in the communities,” she said.
Mrs Aihari highlighted that HOH works on health and hygienic programs for children, carry out youth awareness on substance abuse, conduct women workshops and encourages the unfortunate ones such as orphans.
She said HOH will launch out soon into other provinces.
HOH is a non-charity organisation which receives various supports from individuals, organisations, non-charity groups and business houses.
The local charity group have reached out to about 24 communities in Malaita already.
