Honiara notified to boil water

SOLOMON Water is advising those living in West and Central Honiara to boil water.

A statement from Solomon Water today (Monday 24^th October) said this notice is for those directly or indirectly sourcing water from Kongulai due to high turbidity at the water source.

“Please boil all water for drinking, food preparation, cooking and consumption,” Solomon Water said.

It said this precautionary boil water notice is effective until further notice.

“Our water system should improve in the afternoon if weather remains stable,” the statement added.
