THE Hope FM, here in Honiara will be launching its programs and going locally within the next six months.
Communication Secretary of the Solomon Islands SDA Mission, James Bouro revealed this to Solomon Star on Tuesday.
Mr Bouro said, that currently work on the Hope FM studios is currently underway, adding that equipment for the station have already arrived and that Hope FM will soon running its own programs.
“We have just recently completed an intensive radio broadcasting training for our young broadcasters, conducted by a team of experts from the Adventist World Radio (AWR).
“Therefore we would like to get everything in order within the next six months and then launch the opening of our local streaming,” Mr Bouro said.
Mr Bouro confirmed that last week, the team from AWR helped tested the Hope FM broadcasting through 88.1.
“It was a successful test-run and we were indeed happy with it.
“It won’t be long now before we have our very own Adventist Radio FM Station,” Mr Bouro said.
