“The whole NRH staffs, doctors, nurses, lab technician, cleaners to logistics officers are on standby mode and are very alert for any possible suspicious case.
“And we are also ready for more influx of cases if it comes to worse,” the doctor told this paper.
The doctor further stressed that the Outpatient clinics, eye, clinic, ENT clinic, and Referral clinic will on halt.
“However those emergency life-threatening cases will be still seen and doctors will be available to see sick people,” the doctor added.
The doctor told this paper that they are having meetings 2 times a day mainly to receive updates from their superiors and the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS).
The doctor assured the general public that they are trying their best to provide services for those who need it.
“All medical staff will be around in the hospital to assist whenever we can,” the doctor said.
The doctor further stressed that the people of Solomon Islands must know that the MHMS are giving their best to protect all the citizens amidst this Covid-19.
