The event drew hundreds of believers, packing the Fasitoro compound with a spirit of worship and unity.
The crucifixion scene, shown with emotion, touched the hearts of many who part of the three hours drama.
One Catholic believer, Vincent Kobo, shared his reflections on the day’s service.
“The crucifixion drama reminded me of the greatest love Jesus offers to all of us,” Kobo said.
“It’s truly a joyful experience to see people from different denominations come together to witness and be part of this powerful moment.”
Following the drama, the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion commenced at 3:30pm, featuring a solemn reading of the Passion narrative, the veneration of the Cross, and the distribution of Holy Communion using hosts consecrated during the Holy Thursday Mass.
