AN insider from the office of the Independent group has confirmed to this paper that they remain committed to work with the Democratic Coalition for Change government to implement their policies.
Speaking to the media, the insider said that the current political climate is stable, despite controversial decision making by the DCC government hitting headlines in the media.
“The political environment is fine,” the insider stated. “Independent office support government when necessary as well as the opposition when things are relevant,” he added.
He said, the independent group only wants to make sure that there is a conducive environment for the government to execute its policies.
“The current political rambles are not of interest,” he said. “The government programs that benefits the people is what matters to us,” he further stated.
He eventually stated that they just want the DCC government to do the right thing when dealing with controversial issues arising in the country.
