The 2014 inter-ministry games is currently making progress in Honiara with the soccer and volleyball competition.
For soccer competition has reached quarter-final stages but organisers said matches will wait until they settle an issue between PMOC, Education 1&2 and Police1, Morris Hakapauhenua Vice Chair of the organising committee said yesterday.
The re-match games scheduled for Tuesday has been delayed until they reach a final decision on this matter.
“Hopefully we should reach a final decision before Thursday. All the quarter finals should taking place next week probably Monday. We will update you soon on this,” Mr Hakapauhenua yesterday.
As for volleyball, results would be made available after Aviation 1 and Parliament 2 re-schedule match yesterday. For the second round matches ( 16 teams) and ( 8 Matches) will taking place on Thursday 25th September at Town Ground Courts at 4.00pm ( Pool A-D) and Friday 26th ( Pool E-H) same venue at 4.00pm.
Please prepare for your second round matches as we expecting to play best of 5 sets. We will expect all the teams to be there by 3pm then kick-off at 4.00pm.
