Two men facing the murder of a young man at King George area, East Honiara will appear at the Honiara Magistrate’s Court again in 14 days time.
This is to allow prosecution to address a proposal made by one of the defence counsels and to allow police investigation to complete.
The court on Tuesday heard from prosecution that police investigation is still continuing as police is yet to obtain statement from a particular witness.
Ronald Dive who represents Sam Richard Rintu made a proposal to the prosecution but prosecution is yet to deal with that proposal.
Principal Magistrate Jim Seuika therefore adjourned the matter and further remanded Rintu and James Oge Iroga.
Iroga is being represented by Public Solicitor’s lawyer Allan Tinoni.
Tinoni’s colleague Clifton Ruele who appeared on his instructions yesterday told the court Tinoni was just allocated with the file and therefore need time to get instructions from his client.
Iroga and Rintu who are jointly charged with the murder of the young person in June this year at King George area.
