THE Reproductive Health Division in the Ministry of Health and Medical Service last week conducted a week-long training for nurses around Isabel on family health.
This was done in preparation of a family health survey to be conducted in the province next week.
A senior nurse from Buala hospital Ambrose Kikolo said the training was just a review to equip their skills on how to carry out their work accurately during survey.
“It focused mainly on techniques to apply during survey,” Mr Kikolo said.
“It also covers how to get right information’s from people in the communities,” Mr Kikoloadded.
He said they also learned how to collect data and do analysis.
Mr Kikolo said the training broaden their knowledge on how to implement the methods and work actively during this programme.
Meanwhile, he said nurses are looking forward to conducting the survey next week.
