Dear Editor – The management and staff of the National Parliament Office would like to respond to the letter written by Danny Dasa on the 2nd of October 2015.
First of all, let us say thank you to Mr Dasa for spotting the error on time, we really appreciate you for pointing us to the right direction.
It was not intentional to place wrong information against our good Members of Parliament.
Clearly, it was a human error on our part and we would like to apologise to the Hon. Members of Parliament who are concerned.
Our explanation is this:
The staff responsible for the website was working on updating the MPs’ profiles last week when these errors occurred without noticing that the changes are duplicating the base template used.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused as it is not intentional but of minor editing mistake.
The errors are now corrected. We will try as much as possible to avoid such mistake in the future.
