SAMOAN/AMERICAN RNB and Reggae superstar, J Boog is set to tour Solomon Islands next month.
Organizers, the Heritage Park Hotel announced the arrival to the excitement of local reggae fans.
He will be performing at the Heritage Park Hotel car park on the 17th of February.
J Boog (born Jerry Afemata, Long Beach, California) is an American reggae and R&B vocalist and songwriter raised in Compton, California and based in Hawaii.
He is well known for his hit songs “Let’s do it again” and “Sunshine girl”.
His music career emerged in 2005, followed by the launch of his first album “Hear me roar” which was a huge success, that put him on the map.
Two of his biggest influences and favourite artists George “Fiji” Veikoso” and Gramps Morgan, worked together with J. Boog to make his album, one fans will never forget.
Both artists have already toured and performed in Honiara recently and have huge followers in the Solomon Islands.
J Boog was initially scheduled to tour Honiara in 2014 but had the trip cancelled due to bad weather and flash flood that soaked the city on the month he was supposed to come.
The organizers said that he will be travelling from New Zealand, where he will be attending the ONE LOVE festival and after performing here, he will be touring Australia.
Meanwhile, reggae fans in the country are advised to prepare for the artist’s visit. According to the organizers, tickets will start selling this Friday, 22nd January.
