JnS Hair and Beauty Studio is once again stepping in to support Solomon Fashion week 2018 for the third time.
Owner of JnS Hair and Beauty, Salome Kwaiga, speaking to the paper said she is very delighted to be the major sponsor of the event.
“I saw a lot of young people taking part in the show and I’m very passionate about helping out our young people,” Ms Kwaiga said.
“Solomon Fashion Week 2018 is a platform for me to give back to the young people of this country, to help give them the models the confidence and support,” she added.
Ms Kwaiga said that over the years she has seen so much growth in the fashion industry in the country.
“I’m part of a committee in fashion for Solomon Islands and to date the industry has grown so much. We have had some of the designers showcasing in the Fiji Fashion week and just recently one of the designers showcased her work in the Pacific London Fashion Show in England,” she said.
Ms Kwaiga urges young people with the talent in modelling or designer to come forward.
“Solomon Islands is blessed with a very diverse culture and beautiful people that you can’t find anywhere else in the Pacific or in the world.
“I encourage those with hidden talents to come forward and be part of the Solomon Fashion week.
The Solomon Fashion Week 2018 will be held in November, with the finale on November 10th with a Gala Dinner and a 2 hour Fashion show plus the viewing of Designers’ Collections that will be put on Display.
