THE Solomon Islands Judo Federation is in desperately seeking venue to conduct its trainings to help prepare the team for upcoming Regional and International competitions.
President of the Solomon Islands Judo Federation Eddie Cooper reveal that plight when the federation received 50 sets of uniforms from the Japanese government this week.
“Actually we already kicked off training sessions but the current venue is limiting our preparations.
He stressed that they are still scouting a bigger training venue.
“At the moment, we are still looking for any spacious training venue.”
“We will really appreciate any support in terms of a training venue for our trainings.”
Regional International events that are coming up for them are; the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil, 2017 Mini Games in Vanuatu and 2019 South Pacific Games in Tonga.
