REAL Kakamora ladies out-powered Western United yesterday in the 2014 women’s league competition with a two-nil victory.
The match was played at SIFF academy, King George Sixth School area, East Honiara.
The league which kicked off few last is now into its fifth round.
It was a show of class by both teams after kick off time.
Roselyn Takaram for Real Kakamora made an early start to register her first goal when she slotted in the goal, 21 minutes into the first half.
The United players’ responded by putting more pressure on the Kakamora side but was unable to utilize their chances to break the deadlock.
Kakamora continued to tighten its defense line which denied United’s strikers to get through.
It was towards the end of the match when United’s defense line was caught off guard that saw Kakamora taking further lead, thanks to Takaram who scored the second goal to claim victory.
Meanwhile the round six and seven will be played this coming weekend on Saturday and Sunday at KGVI SIFF academy.
