REAL Kakamora FC has signed the Solomon Cup 2020 player of the tournament, Malaita Eagles midfielder Junior Zimri.
This was confirmed by the Real Kakamora coach Jackson Namo over the weekend.
The 23-year-old played a key role in the Solomon Cup for the Eagles and caught the eyes of many fans as well as Real Kakamora.
Kakamora coach Jackson Namo confirmed that Zimri is already in town to train with his team ahead of the 2021 season which starts in June.
“The club has signed Junior Zimri for the upcoming TSL season.
“He is currently in town and will start preparations with the team.
“This is part of the club’s move to boost our competitiveness next season,” he said.
Coach Namo also revealed that Real Kakamora FC management is currently in talks with the Solomon Cup 2020 Golden boot winner Jaygray Sipakana Western Tomoko golden boy Jaygray Sipakana to boost their attacking forces in the new season.
The club is communicating with the player to bring him over to Honiara.
The inclusion of Zimri and hopefully Sipakana will certainly be a boost to the team’s campaign in the new TSL season.
